The service and who provides it

qrme.to makes QR codes, their short links and the pages they open, and shows you how they are scanned. It is operated by Belbrd LLC.

By opening an account you accept these terms. If you open it for a shop or a company, you confirm that you may accept them on its behalf.

Your account

  • You open the account with an e-mail address that you read yourself. The link to reset your password goes there, and so do notices about your account.
  • Keep your password to yourself. The people you invite to your organization work in it under their own name and their own account.
  • You are responsible for the codes and pages made from your account, and for those made by the people you invited.

What is not allowed

Do not use qrme.to for any of the following:

  • fraud and impersonation, including pages that ask people for sign-in or card details that are not yours to ask for;
  • spreading malware or leading people to it;
  • anything against the law where you operate or where the people who scan your codes are;
  • hiding the real destination behind a chain of link shorteners;
  • spam, or loading the service in a way that disrupts it for others.

The destination of every code is checked automatically when it is saved and afterwards. We may pause a code that breaks these terms, and suspend an account when the breach is repeated or serious. We tell you why by e-mail, and you may ask us to review it.

Your printed codes

A code you printed keeps working. We do not stop a code because of a plan or a payment, and we put no advertisement and no page of ours between the scan and its destination. A code stops in three cases only: you pause or delete it, it breaks these terms or the law, or the service itself ends, in which case we tell you early enough to move your codes.

Your content

What you upload and write stays yours. You allow us to host it and show it to the people who scan your codes, which is how the service works, and we use it for nothing else. You confirm that you have the right to use the logos, images and files you upload.

Privacy

The privacy notice says what we record about you and about the people who scan your codes, where it is kept and for how long. You decide where your codes lead and who sees their statistics, so what the law asks of you towards your visitors is yours to do.

The service during the launch period

During this period the service is free. We work to keep it available at all times and we back it up every night, but we do not promise that it is free of interruptions or errors. We may change it and add to it, and we do not remove what your printed codes depend on.

The service is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss caused by an interruption.

Ending your account

You can download your data and delete your account from your account page at any time. When you delete your organization, its codes stop after the trash period.

Changes to these terms

Every version has its date, and we keep the version you accepted. If the terms change in a way that affects you, we tell you by e-mail and ask for your acceptance before the change applies to you.
