Menu QR code for your restaurant or café
A menu your guest opens on a phone, whose dishes and prices you change from yours without reprinting.
Menu
A restaurant or café menu with categories, prices, calories and SFDA labels.
This kind is kept in a free account: qrme hosts what it opens, so you change it whenever you like without reprinting, and see how often it is scanned.
Accounts are opening to a first group of shops: ask for yours. I have an account: sign in
How it works
- In your free account, choose “Menu”.
- Add the categories and the items: name, description, price and photo, and what you want shown of calories and allergens.
- Download the code and print it for the tables. From then on you change the menu from your phone, and the print stays as it is.
What the menu shows
- Categories and items with their photos and descriptions, under your restaurant's name and logo.
- Prices with the riyal sign, and a “Prices include VAT” line if you want it.
- Calories, caffeine, the high-salt label, and the minutes of walking that burn the item.
- The 14 allergens, in Arabic on every menu.
- A WhatsApp button, to order or to ask.
These are the fields that the rules of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority list for menus. The menu shows them as you type them; it is not “approved by the SFDA”.
Why a PDF is not enough
A PDF is hard to read on a phone, and every change of a price means a new file. The menu here is a page made for phones: you change a price or remove an item that has run out in a moment, and the next guest sees it at once. And you see how often the code was scanned.
What it costs
A menu is an editable code, and the free plan holds 3 codes that are editable, for ever; the menu is one of them. On the free plan the menu's page carries a small “Made with qrme” line at the bottom.
A code for every table and every branch, so that the kitchen knows where an order came from, comes with the Branches plan. Pricing
Questions about a menu QR code
Does the guest need an app?
No. They point the phone's camera at the code and the page opens in the browser.
I already have a menu as a PDF. Can I use it?
Yes, with a PDF code: you upload the file and replace it whenever it changes. But a guest reads the menu's page more easily than a file.
What happens to the menu if I stop paying?
The printed code goes on opening the menu. The detail is on the pricing page.
Can I see a menu before I open an account?
The page for restaurants and cafés explains what the guest sees and what you see.
