WhatsApp QR code
Type your number and a message to start with. Whoever scans the code lands in a chat with you.
How it works
- Type the shop's WhatsApp number. A local number that starts with 05 gets Saudi Arabia's country code by itself.
- Type the message you want the customer to start with, such as “I would like to order” or “I would like to book”. They see it ready, and it is they who press “Send”.
- Design the code in your colours and with your logo, and download it.
Where it is used
- On the table or at the till: “Order on WhatsApp”.
- On the shop's front while it is closed: “Write to us and we will answer”.
- On the delivery car, the business card and the receipt.
- In a printed advertisement, so that a customer reaches you without saving your number.
If the number or the message changes
The code from this page is static: the number and the message are in the pattern. Kept in an account it becomes editable: you change the number or the message while the print stays as it is, and you see how often it was scanned. The free plan holds 3 codes that are editable, for ever.
Questions about a WhatsApp QR code
Does it work with WhatsApp Business?
Yes. The code opens a chat with the number, whether it is on WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business.
Does the customer see my number?
Yes, as in any WhatsApp chat. Use the shop's number, not your own.
Is the message sent by itself?
No. It is written in their message box, and they may change it before they send it themselves.
And if the customer's phone has no WhatsApp?
The link opens WhatsApp's page in the browser, which offers them the app.
